Reconstruction of a new breast, following mastectomy, using either an implant or your own tissues. What To Expect:
The
creation of a new breast mound which will match the existing breast
with respect to size, shape and symmetry. This is an important part of
the recovery phase following breast cancer surgery, and helps to
improve body image and self-esteem.
Tummy Tuck
Procedure Description:
The
correction of abdominal contour deformities by surgically removing
excess skin and fat, as well as tightening-up the abdominal wall
muscles. What To Expect:
A
flatter, smoother abdomen, with tighter abdominals. A restoration or
creation of proper abdominal aesthetics. Some patients may be
candidates for mini-tummy tucks, in which only the lower abdomen is
addressed.
Face Lift
Procedure Description:
The
removal of excess skin and wrinkles from the face and neck, with a
tightening of the underlying tissues as well as the skin. What To Expect:
A
more youthful appearance with the removal of excess facial and neck
skin. Imperfections such as jowls and unwanted fatty deposits, as well
as neck bands, are corrected.
Breast Augmentation Procedure Description:
Enlargement of the breasts with the placement of saline breast implants. What To Expect:
Larger
& fuller breasts which are more proportioned to fit your body. Dr.
Zaccaria specializes in the use of contoured implants which give the
breasts a much more natural look.
Reduction Mammaplasty Procedure Description:
Reduce the size of the breasts in women who are very large breasted and symptomatic. What To Expect:
Smaller,
shapelier breasts, which are lifted, and proportioned to the rest of
the body. This improves posture, back and neck pain, and makes clothes
fit better.
Botox What To Expect:
Botox,
a purified protein, is injected in small quantities into certain
muscles of the face. This paralyzes the muscles and smooths the
overlying skin, removing wrinkles and frown lines.
The results last for 3 to 5 months.
Restylane/Juvederm What To Expect:
Restylane
and Juvederm are Hyaluronic Acid (HA) dermal "fillers" which are
injected into deep wrinkles or facial lines. They act to draw tissue
fluid into the area and fill the wrinkles or lines, smoothing them out.
The results last about 6 to 9 months.
